After their March 2007 performance at the Cinquième Salle, which attracted sell-out crowds, Rubberbandance Group is back at the Place des Arts with Phase II (working title), an extravaganza production that showcases the company’s six dancers. Victor Quijada, the darling of the Montreal contemporary dance scene, pushes the envelope even further in developing his unique choreographic language. Inspired by breakdancing, ballet and contemporary dance, he experiments with a fusion of dance, theatre and new technologies to create a unique stage work.
